Mission Statement

That all children are safe from the destruction of even a single bullet fired from an unlocked gun!

Sean Caroline was 12 years old. He was accidentally shot and killed by a friend. This was a preventable nightmare that no parent should have to go through.

Guns and children are one of the least talked about and most misunderstood child safety topics. Many people, especially parents, never think that this could happen to their family until they are faced with this tragedy. The loss of my son has sent me on a crusade about gun safety. I have learned that accidental shootings are 100% preventable. I have learned that educating our children about the dangers of guns is only the first step in keeping them safe. I believe that it is the responsibility of the gun owner to make sure that our children do not have the opportunity to access a gun. Not only was this my worst nightmare come true, but so many other families’ as well.

My Story

In the paragraph below and in the pages following, I have written about my life. It explains my story before and after I lost my precious son Seanne. But before you begin to read my writings, please see this article. It’s a very good summary of what happened that horrible day I lost my son. The reason for my writings, my organization, this webpage, and my life, is the protection of our most precious children!

I'll start with when I first became a Mom!

I married at the young age of 18 years old in 1978. I had my first wonderful son, whom I named Robert. I married my very "first love", who became a very dominating, mental and physical abuser. Within 7 years, I had turned from a very strong woman into a weak one. I got up enough courage one night to leave him for the protection of not only myself, but for my son. [more]
